Referring to: Tanimoto A, Sasaguri Y, Ohtsu H: 2006. Histamine Network in Atherosclerosis. Trends in Cardiovascular Medicine 16:280–284.

The authors of “Histamine Network in Atherosclerosis” regret two errors appearing on page 283 in their article. The article incorrectly asserts that both H1 and H2 receptor antagonists prevent the thickening of intima in atherosclerosis. As the referenced article (Miyazawa et al. 1998) notes, only H1 antagonists act to prevent the thickening of intima, not H2 antagonists.
